Signing up to the Community Alert
If you would like to be alerted for any suspicious activity via SMS, you can subscribe to our Community alert for any alerts containing suspicious activity. For an annual subscription for €10. We are partnered with Garda Síochána Laois Offaly to get the latest information for your area and registered with Muintir Na Tíre.
Witnessing suspicious behaviour?
If you have any suspicious activity in your area, contact the Abbeyleix Garda Station:

Every little information helps!
Just to give an example, you see a white Toyota van acting suspicious around your area at 7pm. You don’t think much of it, probably thinking “The lad must be lost in the area” you could be wrong. They could be searching for the area for valuable equipment to steal later that day or in the near future.
Every little detail helps, if you see their number plate, the number of people in the vehicle and what they look like, you could save someone in your community or even yourself from being a victim of theft.
